FRRI provides a PROACTIVE science-based approach to the physiological, neurological, psychological, and emotional effects of trauma and stress on first responders and their families.
Tragically, more first responders die by suicide EVERY YEAR than die in the line of duty. They have life expectancies of 15 years less than civilians, a 70% divorce rate, and a greater chance of dying by stroke, heart attack, and cancer than the very people they serve.
WHO WE SERVE
We serve both active and retired first responders and their families. These include fire, law enforcement, dispatch, emergency department physicians and nurses.
