Staff Nurses Association Flyer 10.26.20

This is a FREE 4-hour webinar coordinated by the Staff Nurses Association Education Committee which will prelude a full 8-hour conference that will be held on May 11, 2021. 

Program Objectives: 

Upon completion of the class, participants will be able to describe:

1. The physical and relational impacts stress has on first responders.

2. The anatomical and neurological impacts to stress exposure.

3. Proactive research on mindfulness and behavioral wellness that mitigates symptoms of PTSD, stress, and trauma. 

09:00 – 09:45      Welcome and Introductions

09:45 – 10:30       Neuroanatomy and Mindfulness

10:30 – 11:15         Autonomic Nervous System stress responses

11:15 – 12:00         Effects of Sleep Deprivation

12:00 – 12:45        Physical/Emotional /Relational responses to stress

12:45 – 13:00        Closing Comments, End of Webinar

**4 CEU’s will be provided by Staff Nurses Association Education Committee. California BRN provider No CEP 5296**
